Diane Crosby knows well the road from inactivity to fitness. It was back in 1996 when
Diane personally discovered the many benefits of physical activity. At the time she was, like many young mothers, faced with work and family demands that left little
time for herself. Recognizing the need to reduce stress and feel better both emotionally and physically, Diane incorporated exercise and healthy eating into her
busy life. What she discovered was life changing.Since then she has run road races, competed in triathlons, and titled in power lifting
competitions. Fitness has become such an integral part of her well being that she just has to share it. Diane's passion for fitness and its mind/body/spirit benefits touches
all in both one-on-one training and group classes.
A National Strength and Conditioning Association certified personal trainer, Diane is
especially well known for her work with seniors. She gently guides seniors, as well as others over age 40, to maximize their days by incorporating fitness into their daily
lives. Diane believes that with sensible activity and healthy choices, growing older can bring opportunities for physical, emotional, and spiritual fitness even in light of various challenges.
Diane is a certified Silver Sneakers-Healthways instructor. She currently leads senior
exercise classes at Coventry Housing Authority in Coventry and Scituate Senior Center in Scituate. In addition, Diane teaches introductory and

One-on-one clients credit Diane with knowing when to be sensitive and encouraging, and when to push the limits. She trains clients in both fitness
centers and in their homes, with a special focus on (but not limited to) women over the age of 40.
